Major Road Closures for VAILO Adelaide 500 Start Friday
Starting Friday, 8 November, several key roads around Adelaide’s CBD will be closed for the Adelaide 500, with closures affecting routes primarily east of the city centre.
Main Roads Closed:
- 8 – 21 November:
- Wakefield Road
- East Terrace (between Bartels Road and Wakefield Street)
- 8 – 19 November:
- Bartels Road
- Hutt Street (between Ifould Street and Bartels Road)
- East Terrace (between Grenfell Street and Bartels Road)
- Dequetteville Terrace (northwest bound from Capper Street to Bartels Road)
- 8 – 19 November, until 3pm:
- Dequetteville Terrace (between Bartels Road and Fullarton Road)
Reopening Schedule
Most roads will reopen on 19 November, with all closures lifted by 21 November.
